Galina Vidserves as the Vice President of Operations at Ceramedix, Inc. An accomplished drug development expert, she works closely with regulatory, research, manufacturing, and business teams to optimize workflows and improve efficiency. Dr. Vid has been instrumental in driving operational excellence at Ceramedix and developing strategies to streamline clinical translation of its anti-ceramide technology.
Dr. Vid has two decades of experience overseeing all stages of the drug development process at top-tier pharmaceutical companies. She previously held leadership positions at Pfizer Inc., where she spearheaded innovative business development programs for research and development teams, managed PMOs, led cross-functional global teams, and managed Pfizer’s Established Products growth portfolio, enabling resource optimization and global prioritization. Dr. Vid also served as an Associate Director at Wyeth, where she led pharmaceutical development teams from pre-development to post-launch and managed the lifecycle of several marketed products. Early in her career, she held research positions of increasing levels of responsibility at American Home Products and American Cyanamid.
In addition to her corporate positions, Dr. Vid was the co-founder and U.S. Managing Director of Pfizer Russia’s “More Than Education” program, where she played a pivotal role in establishing and managing an educational program focused on pharmaceutical aspects of drug development for college students. She has also lectured at several prestigious institutions and programs, inspiring the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists and innovators. She holds a PhD in organic chemistry from The Lomonosov Institute of Fine Chemical Technology (LIFCT), Moscow, Russia.
